  In our body, Synovial Sarcoma, originally called Synovioma, is a common soft tissue sarcoma and a malignant connective tissue neoplasm, arising primarily in the paraarticular regions from tenosynovial tissue of the joint capsules and in synovial cells of tendon sheaths and bursae, indicative to a specific set of signs, symptoms or other health indicators.
  In our body, legs are the most common site of a synovial sarcoma, but the tumor may also occur in the abdominal wall and other trunk muscles, commonly associated as a health challenge in the second and fourth decades of life.
  Synovial sarcoma forms a characteristic biphasic patterns, composed of histologically, two morphologically different types of cells include:

• epithelial cells resembling those of carcinoma
• fibrosarcoma-like spindle cells

Histological variants of synovial sarcoma may be subclassified into:

• biphasic synovial sarcoma
  • biphasic type with distinct epithelial and spindle cell components present in various proportions and patterns
• monophasic synovial sarcoma
  • monophasic spindle cell type with little or no evidence of epithelial differentiation
  • monophasic epithelial type
• poorly differentiated type

Immunohistochemically, both epithelial and spindle cells are reactive with cytokeratin and epithelial membrane antigen, while only the spindle cells are positive for vimentin. **
