  In organic chemistry, Ergopeptams are organic compounds in the lysergic acid derivatives subclass of the ergolines and ergoline derivatives class within the ergot and ergoline alkaloids group of the alkaloids superclass, containing a tripeptidic noncyclol ergot alkaloids
  The Ergopeptam structure is similar to the ergopeptine structure, except that L-proline is exchanged by D-proline, and the tripeptide chain is a noncyclol lactam. *
