  In botany, Therophyte is one of Raunkiaer Plant Life-Form categories of plant life-form schemes based on a plant, as an annual or ephemeral plant, that complete its life cycle in a short period when conditions are favorable, and survives harsh unfavorable conditions as a seed.
  Examples of therophytes include:

• scapose therophyte plants
