“Lariciresinol”  

  In phytochemistry, a Lariciresinol, molecular formula C₂₀H₂₄O₆ with a net charge of 0, aka (+)-lariciresinol, is a tetrahydrofuranol lignan substituted at positions 2, 3 and 4 by 4-hydroxy-3-methoxyphenyl, hydroxymethyl and 4-hydroxy-3-methoxybenzyl groups respectively (the 2S,3R,4R-diastereomer).
  Lariciresinol is an aromatic ether, a lignan, an oxolane, a phenols a primary alcohol, and the enantiomer of (−)-lariciresinol
