Homeopathy

  Homeopathy follows the principles of the "law of similarity". The principle is that a substance that in large doses will produce symptoms of a specific disease will, in extremely small doses, cure it. Homeopathy is a healing system invented by Samuel Hahnemann in the 18th century based on the principle that like cures like (using like substances for cure).
  The name homeopathy is derived from two Latin words: "homeo" meaning same, and "pathy" meaning disease.
Homeopathy stimulates a person's natural healing processes with minute (Homeopathic) dilutions of specific remedies. Based on the person's physical, mental and emotional state, a remedy is chosen that matches the pattern of their symptoms or the profile of their illness.


  A Homeopathy remedy should cause the same symptoms if it were given in very large doses. Most Homeopathic remedies are made from minute doses of natural substances obtained from plants, vegetables, minerals and animals. *
