  In our body, the Peptide Hormones are systemic hormones, synthesized from amino acids, and produced by the endocrine glands (pituitary, thyroid, pineal, adrenal, pancreas) or by various organs such as the stomach, Kidney, Intestine, Placenta, or Liver.
  Some Peptide Hormones, as complex neuropeptides, can have very complex structures with up to a few hundred of amino acids.
